Kids on Sundays

Sunday mornings children and young people enjoy their own groups:

King’s Kids for 3-9 years
Through games, Bible stories, crafts and other activities the children learn about God, his Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and explore ways of living out a Christian faith in today’s complex, multi-faith, multi-cultural world.

King’s Teens for 10-16 years
We have a great youth programme that will get you passionate for God, some great friends and a fantastic time. We have random discussions, which are topical and evolve to a message every time. We aim to have fun! Based on comments from the young people, they do!

For families who prefer something different:

Messy Church
Messy Church meets from 3-5pm on the 2nd Sunday of the month for all ages. Messy Church is for anyone of any age and is a place where families and people who ‘Don’t do church’ can learn about God and Jesus and explore our faith. Crafts, activities and a worship celebration built around a story from the bible or a Christian theme are followed by time to get to know each other over tea.

Safeguarding
Groups for children and young people are led by people trained to be Junior Church/Youth leaders and the groups always have two adults present. St Paul’s actively follows the principles of the Safeguarding Policy of the Methodist Church. All leaders and helpers have undergone training in Safeguarding and Child Protection, and have been DBS checked. DBS checks are renewed at the appropriate intervals. See the full policy here.
