Kids on Sundays

On Sunday mornings children and young people enjoy their own groups:

King’s Kids
For ages 2 to 9 years (up to school year 4)
The children enjoy learning about God through Bible stories and a wide variety of fun activities.  These include games, art, craft, dressing up, cooking, and many other.

King’s Teens
For ages 10 to 16 years (school years 5 to 11)

The young people explore the Bible and the Gospel message through a wide variety of enjoyable and engaging activities including: drama, music, art, craft, cooking, photography, video making, and many other.

For families who prefer something different:

Messy Church
Messy Church meets from 3-5pm on the 2nd Sunday of the month for all ages. Messy Church is for anyone of any age and is a place where families and people who ‘Don’t do church’ can learn about God and Jesus and explore our faith. Crafts, activities and a worship celebration built around a story from the bible or a Christian theme are followed by time to get to know each other over tea.

Safeguarding
Groups for children and young people are led by people trained to be Junior Church/Youth leaders and the groups always have two adults present. St Paul’s actively follows the principles of the Safeguarding Policy of the Methodist Church. All leaders and helpers have undergone training in Safeguarding and Child Protection, and have been DBS checked. DBS checks are renewed at the appropriate intervals. See the full policy here.
